In the visual org chart you set up departments, positions and reporting levels, and see at a glance who reports to whom. For each position you record responsibilities and deputy arrangements.

The roles and permissions system builds on that structure. You define per role which areas and records are visible — a team lead sees their team, management sees the whole picture. Structural changes feed straight through to permissions, so you don’t maintain them twice.

Cost centres and master data sit here too and are available to the other modules. Add a new position and it’s immediately available in tasks, calendars and reports.
